County Council

As Wiltshire Council is a unitary authority, there are only two tiers of local government in the county.

Our elected member on Wiltshire Council is Councillor Jonathon Seed (Conservative), who represents the Summerham and Seend Division, which includes the villages of Bulkington, Great Hinton, Keevil, Poulshot, Seend, Semington, and Steeple Ashton. He was re-elected in May 2021 to serve for a further 4 years.

Dear Keevil Resident,
As I approach the election I have no idea whether I will continue as your Councillor – that is up to you! If I am not re-elected I bid you farewell and thanks for the past twelve years as your Wiltshire Councillor.
It has been a privilege to represent you on Wiltshire Council, to take up issues, fight battles and try to get things done on your behalf.
If I am re-elected on 6th May, I look forward to looking after your issues and representing the village for the next four years.
Best wishes
Jonathon Seed
Wiltshire Councillor for Summerham and Seend
Chairman, Melksham Area Board
